I’ll tell you a secret: good copywriters get their best ideas from your customers. And it’s not because we’re lazy, because this approach takes more work…

By interviewing you and your customers, reading reviews and getting lost in online forums, I learn the language of your ideal clients.

I also examine your competitors, what’s worked for you in the past and other stand-out brands that align with your values.

2. Break it down

I use all of this data to craft messaging that speaks directly to the right people (rather than sitting around a table guessing what we should be saying).

So you know the strategy before I start writing copy, you get a research summary that maps out where I plan to take your messaging.

3. Write and review

The agreed strategy guides the entire process and gives me a reference point to build upon.

Using this, I create relatable copy that enhances your brand personality and tells potential customers exactly what they want to hear. You get a sample first to make sure we’re 100% on the same page, followed by a complete draft for review.

When we’re done, you get to send your copy live and feel proud of building a brand with genuine substance.

Timeframe: Allow around 5 weeks for a website project to be completed, and please note that I often have a lead time of up to a month for all new projects. I’ll take a briefing meeting with you ASAP, so we can kick off as soon as my schedule opens up.

Price: You get a fixed-price quote with agreed deliverables for complete certainty. Each project is quoted individually, but here’s a ballpark for you to work off: $300 +GST for an email campaign; $350 +GST for a 600-word blog; $490 +GST for a website audit; $2,900 +GST for a 5-page website.

Approach: This is your project and I’ll work around you! Once we chat, I’ll propose an approach that fits around your goals, budget and timeframe. To make your life easy, I’ll happily collaborate with your team, web developer and anyone else involved in the project.
